2011 Highlights - January - April

JANUARY


We had a lot of snow for Nashville. Stayed in the house for a few days - nice!

The family went out to eat at a nice restaurant downtown.

Then we walked over to the Schermerhorn. It was cold that night, but we were happy.

These guys were really happy.

The whole bunch at the the Symphony.

It was great to have Nathan and Rachel spend a few days here in Nashville.

FEBRUARY

Sandy and I visited Arizona. Lots of big cactus there. It was almost hot - in Feb!

MARCH

Sandy and I spoke at a couple's retreat at a campground near Memphis.

APRIL

We finally started our house renovation in April.

The two of us painted all the downstairs. Upstairs - 2012.

After church services on Easter, we got together at the house.

You can see the old microwave. The new appliances were in the dining room.

Jared bought a house!

Sandy and I went to a church planting conference in Orlando. After the conference, we spent a couple of days at the beach.

Family Blog - November, 2011

Here is Sandy and me in Dealey Plaza in Dallas. That is the building where Lee Harvey Oswald shot President Kennedy (I guess).

The preacher and I had to get on them.

We finally talked Sandy into getting on one. She is with Collette (preacher's wife). Collette went to the Huntsville church as a teenager. Uncle David was sweet on her at one time.

This is the pastor of the cowboy church outside Amarillo. (and me) Sandy was sick while we were there. Poor baby.

Thanksgiving at the Atwood house.

Sandy did a great job cooking - the food was delicious! Rachel helped.

It was good to see Jared get his appetite back. I never lost mine.

Of course, this was also Rachel's birthday.

Her cake was made of ice cream.

I like how Rachel smiles a lot.

Thursday night at midnight - Rachel and Aunt Karen in the car - ready for some shopping!

For some reason, I thought I'd go with them. The stores were slammed!

I had temporary insanity, but learned my lesson!
